AK-1840-KT Adapter Kit for Case Model 1840
The AK 1840 Mounting Plate Adapter Kit has been designed for use with MPUF-1. It includes a revised hole location pattern that makes it possible to use existing attachments with the narrower pin location found on the Case Model 1835, 1838 and 1840. Below are photos and instructions that show how the AK 1840 Adapter Kit is installed. Caution is advised if the Adapter Kit is used with mounting plates other than the MPUF-1, since tolerances may vary.
Installation

| Step
1: Requires centering the angle iron under the top bar of the mounting
plate as shown. Weld the angle iron to the top bar and to the attachment as shown
in step 3. | Step
2: Place the weldment part of the kit behind the gusset and lower portion
of the mount as shown above. Some grinding may be necessary for proper fit. Center
weldment so that there is an equal distance on both ends. | Step 3: Complete the welds as shown above (circled in red) to finish the installation. |
