This pivot pin is used at the bottom pivot arms and the rear of the top arms, allowing proper articulation of the floating pivot system for smooth, consistent ground following.

Using the Severe Duty Cutter with a Cat 289D Low Flow and this thing is a beast. We used it to cut down and mulch up trees from 4" to 6" in diameter. This was for lot clearing to building future multi-family housing. It knocked everything down and chewed it up. Very happy with the performance of this unit.
