This extension hose helps ensure correct pressure relief and motor protection by allowing excess hydraulic oil to return safely to the tank, reducing the risk of seal damage and premature motor wear.

I can honestly say that our 30 ton skid steers.com splitter is probably our best investment yet. As a small, family owned firewood business, it has really sped up the process for us. Using the Severe Duty Cutter with a Cat 289D Low Flow and this thing is a beast. We used it to cut down and mulch up trees from 4" to 6" in diameter. This was for lot clearing to building future multi-family housing. It knocked everything down and chewed it up. Very happy with the performance of this unit.
