Skid Steer Rubber Tracks

Finding the right size tracks can be a daunting task. Getting the size wrong is problematic in many aspects, including losing your valuable time. With so many different brands out there, it can be confusing. Luckily, you are just a click or two away from finding out the size and possibly just the alternative you need. To confirm the size, count the links,

and measure the pitch, and width of your current track. Typically the metric measurement is used. Sometimes the size is stamped on the inside of the track as well. You'll want continuous steel cord technology in most cases, however, NMC Non-metal core technology also serves a purpose and is proprietary to some makes and models.

Skid Steer Rubber Tracks

Tackle the toughest and most severe terrain with our Skid Steer Rubber tracks. Manufactured from proprietary rubber compounds and high-strength steel, our rubber tracks set the standard in the track loader industry. We offer premium rubber tracks for skid steer track machine brands such as Bobcat, Case, Cat, Gehl, JCB, John Deere, Komatsu, New Holland, and more.

We offer several sizes and tread patterns to choose from. Our tracks are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 1 year or the first 1200 hours (whichever comes first). For questions about our rubber skid loader tracks please call our experts.

What Makes Our Compact Track Loader & Excavator Rubber Tracks Better?

  1. Continuous Steel Cord Technology - the steel cord is continuously wrapped around the track. This drastically reduces the chances of the track splitting.
  2. Excellent or very excellent rubber bonding.
  3. Not mechanically fastened (many companies will use mechanically fastened cords if they have problems with rubber bonding).
  4. Metal forged heat-treated embeds (many companies will use cast embeds and tend to have high instances of cracking).

Track Sizes Explained

Do replacement skid steer tracks make you scratch your head and wonder? Do you find all the numbers written on your skid steer loader (if you can still see them!) confusing? Put your trust in us, the experts, who can explain what all those numbers mean.

Firstly, check if the size is stamped into the rubber. If you can’t find it, it is time to get your metric ruler out. To determine the size, you will need three numbers: Track width, Pitch, and the number of links. Naturally, the make and model of your loader will help to confirm the size too.

1. Measure the width of the track in millimeters
2. Measure the distance between the inner links center to center
3. Count the number of links

Example: For a Cat 259B the size is: 320x86x53 (320 (track width) x 86 (pitch distance between inner links center to center) x 53 (number of links).

Hopefully, this has cleared a few things up regarding track sizes. If you are still in doubt, do not hesitate to call us at (866) 315-3134 for information. We are always happy to give you a helping hand.
